Students from White Shield are raising money to help the homeless in Bismarck .
In one week they raised two hundred dollars along with blankets and canned foods.
Carrie Grosz with the Bismarck Public Schools Students in Transition program accepted the gift today.
Members of White Shield's student council group thought of the idea and the school of 120 students all pitched in.
(Dorene Malling, Faculty) "One of the things too, was pajama day, was really a good thing for the students, because it was, the theme for that day was to wear your pajamas and be thankful that you have a place to sleep. And that did remind them, that no matter what at least they have a place to be."
Next year, the kids plan to take their project to surrounding communities to raise more money for the homeless.
